Tomorrowland Foundation and 4ESKUELA solidify long-term cultural alliance in Medellín TO EMPOWER CHILDREN AND YOUNGSTERS.

Medellín, Colombia - The Tomorrowland Foundation announces the start of a long-term alliance with 4 Elementos Eskuela (4ESKUELA) (4 Elements School), a community-based artistic training project based in Medellín, led by the collective Crew Peligrosos, an independent cultural organization and leader in Latin American Hip Hop with twenty-seven years of experience and social impact.

This alliance seeks to strengthen community ties and support artistic development through the power of music and culture. 4ESKUELA is a free training program aimed at preserving Hip-Hop culture and empowering individuals to contribute to a stronger community. This partnership coin- cides with the return of the Tomorrowland CORE festival to Medellín, reinforcing the city's role in the global music scene.

This collaboration is based on a shared vision: art, music, and culture as drivers of social transformation, meaning-making, and the projection of new generations.

Empowering youth through creativity

The Tomorrowland Foundation is dedicated to empowering children and young people worldwide through creative education, utilizing music, dance, and arts as tools for self-expression, building confidence, and creating lasting social impact. By collaborating with inspiring community initiatives, the Foundation helps young people grow, connect, and build a more hopeful future.

4Eskuela: Cutlrure as a driver of social change

4ESKUELA was founded in the early 2000s in the Aranjuez neighborhood (Comuna 4) of Medellín, a territory historically marked by adverse conditions that have shaped the city’s social development. Driven by members of the artistic collective Crew Peligrosos, it emerged as an initiative focused on the dignity of youth, the care of human values, and the construction of citizenship through art and culture.

Its pedagogical model is grounded in a firm belief in the transformative power of culture. Rooted in Hip-Hop, the organization employs disciplines such as DJing, MCing (rap), breaking, graffiti, and street dance to offer children and young people a positive alternative to the challenges faced by the city of Medellín, fostering creativity, resilience, life projects, and a strong sense of belonging.

Throughout its trajectory, the organization has impacted thousands of participants, many of whom are now part of artistic, cultural, and educational circuits at both national and international levels, demonstrating the project’s strength and long-term vision.

The Tomorrowland Foundation firmly believes in the approach and impact of 4ESKUELA. This collaboration will enable the organization to expand its programs and reach a greater number of children and young people. The partnership is also deeply connected to a meaningful geographic link, as 4ESKUELA operates in Medellín, the city where CORE Medellín—a festival organized by Tomorrowland—is held.

LIVE. LOVE. UNITE. — Expressed Through Urban Art

To celebrate this collaboration, 4ESKUELA created a graffiti mural inspired by Tomorrowland’s core values: LIVE. LOVE. UNITE. Urban art has long been an essential part of 4ESKUELA’s creative language, and in this context it becomes a symbolic act of encounter between cultures, territories, and shared visions—transforming public space into a site of expression, pride, and collective memory.

Celebration of the Collaboration — Thursday, February 19

On the eve of the second edition of CORE Medellín, 4ESKUELA and the Tomorrowland Foundation will officially celebrate the launch of their collaboration with a unique event held at the organization’s facilities. The gathering will bring together children and young people, artists, educators, participants, and members of the wider community, and will include the unveiling of the graffiti mural.
