Tomorrowland Foundation and Mobile School bring the core values of Tomorrowland to the streets with the Live, Love, Unite toolkit

Twelve of the world’s most famous DJs engage with children and young people

Monday, 16 September 2024 - To further enhance their long-term collaboration, the Tomorrowland Foundation and Mobile School are proudly launching a new educational toolkit designed for children and young people worldwide. The new LIVE, LOVE, UNITE toolkit is an interactive educational game that brings the colorful world of Tomorrowland directly to youth workers, teachers, and youth organizations. To kick off the launch of this remarkable project, renowned Belgian DJ Amber Broos visited primary school De Kraal in Winksele on Monday, September 16, to test the toolkit together with the students. This unique project not only celebrates their long-standing partnership but also Tomorrowland’s 20th anniversary.

Inspired by the core values of Tomorrowland and brought to life by 12 of the world’s biggest DJs, this toolkit offers youth workers, teachers, and educators a unique way to convey important life lessons and empower children and young people all around the world.

The toolkit revolves around Tomorrowland’s core values: daring to be yourself (LIVE), respect for yourself and others (LOVE), and the importance of working together (UNITE). These values are explained interactively and accessibly through engaging videos and challenges presented by legendary DJs such as NERVO, Armin van Buuren, Lost Frequencies, GORDO, MATTN, Amber Broos, Henri PFR, Netsky, Andromedik, Kölsch, Sunnery James & Ryan Marciano, and AFROJACK.

Panel with interactive content
Developed by Mobile School, the toolkit features a colorful panel illustrating a festival environment filled with recognizable situations and QR codes. By scanning the codes, children and young people are invited to watch engaging videos where the DJs share compelling stories and give enjoyable challenges that help them understand and apply the core values.

Global reach
The LIVE, LOVE, UNITE Toolkit is not only distributed among the 70 Mobile School partners operating in 37 countries but is also available for free to anyone working with children and young people. Youth workers, teachers, and educators can easily download and use the toolkit to engage with young people aged 8 to 15. The game can be played in parts or in one single playthrough, with a total duration of 2 to 3 hours, making it ideal for youth work activities. It is available in Dutch, English, and Spanish, making it accessible worldwide.

“For Mobile School, it was a unique opportunity to develop this toolkit,” says Arnoud Raskin, founder of Mobile School. “With the support of the Tomorrowland Foundation and their twelve DJ ambassadors, we created a unique and engaging way to teach children and young people important life values in a playful and highly appealing manner. This toolkit will make a real difference, not only for our street workers but for everyone working with children worldwide.”

About Tomorrowland Foundation

The Tomorrowland Foundation targets children and young people between the ages of 4 and 21 from all over the world. Children living in developing countries or regions in crisis, with parents that are preoccupied with ‘survival’ or with unequal chances in life. These children are very often raised in poverty and have a high risk of spending themselves their whole life in poverty. The Tomorrowland Foundation wants to break this vicious circle and focuses on projects that aim to give them the chance to express themselves creatively and work on their self-esteem. The Tomorrowland Foundation is funded with spontaneous donations and contributions from visitors of Tomorrowland, combined with a yearly contribution from WeAreOneWorld, the organization behind Tomorrowland.
